The heart of ICEBERG: sportswear for the city, fashion that’s freeing.

This summer, it’s about an Italian sensibility with an English twist, like a Milanese take on Britpop. Zip-up bombers, linen trenches, fitted knits, pleat tailored pants, skirts with a kick – these are the building blocks of a wardrobe for all season long.

“I love the freedom of ICEBERG. It’s the sportswear attitude that’s in the ICEBERG DNA, and is also my design background too. That’s the mood of the season, with the Italian sportswear state-of-mind mixed with an English point-of-view. It’s sharp, it’s playful, it’s totally ICEBERG.” says James Long, creative director.

Zip-up leather bombers set the neat silhouette, worn with a foulard tied at the neck. It’s matched with belted pleat trousers, sharply tailored yet roomy. Check linen trenches are cut with raglan sleeves with an exaggerated rib collar; cream zip-up nylon bombers have navy contrast lining and ribbed knit sleeves. Meanwhile, cream parkas have contrast navy insides and all the sportswear trimmings.

Fine knits keep the fitted mood, like a long-sleeve polo with contrast trim collar, or a short-sleeve fine-knit dress with diagonals of drop stitch twisting round the body. Just below the hips, the dress kicks out, worn over draped layers of sheer chiffon. Leather is playful, like a little leather skirt with an asymmetric ruffled panel, or a leather blazer worn with a leather pencil skirt that has a kick at the back.

Ruffles give energy, like a cinched shirtdress with a circle-cut panel of ruffles that’s asymmetric at the hip. There’s also a mini-skirt of poplin-stitched ruffles that wrap around the body, worn with fitted single-breasted blazers for a sharp contrast of shape.

Vivid knit zip-ups have character and charm, with bands of yellow and green, like a zip-up knit bonded onto jersey with cable stitch details. Meanwhile a long rib knit dress has a plunging lace-up V-neck that’s pure ICEBERG. Striped shirts have sporty panels cut across the shoulders, sometimes worn double. Double-box pleat pants create even more controlled volume. Layer, mix, match: these are pieces for playing with your look.

Double-thong footwear is like a flip-flop inside heels, or flats. Some models have heels in their hands and sneakers on their feet. Messenger bags are slouchy and perfect for city streets. Oversized lens sunglasses have the ICEBERG I on top of the bridge.
