Not just retro: the new Iceberg Eyewear Collection
The new Iceberg eyewear collection for winter 2012 is inspired by the upper style sportswear - given by the balance between modern urban chic and casual - that characterizes the style of the brand.
From the art of joining modernity and tradition, comes the inspiration for the IC641 and IC642 sunglasses, designed for the male but can be interpreted by the more resolute and irreverent women.
The first has a vaguely '60s wide shape, declined in the colors of Havana, blue or dark green of the refined striped acetates. The second has a more retro mood, with a round shape and the iconic key-hole nose that, together with the vintage striping of the acetates, contribute to create the urban and sophisticated style of the frame. A metal “I” shaped particular customizes the temples of both models.
More feminine is the IC637, metallic and squared with acetate tips, this model have the original knurled decoration on the front, that gently shines through the shaded lens.
Precious details, such as rhinestones and leather, enrich the sunglasses IC643 and IC644, feminine and glamor; on the IC643 temples, with a rounded and wide shape, the iconic "I" appears in negative from a dense rhinestone gluing. While in the model IC644, cat-shaped, the must-have in the recent seasons, a soft leather covers the temples in two of the color variants.
The optical offer includes 6 models extremely linear and versatile. The female model IC195, with its unusual geometry, gives character and sobriety to the whole look; in this case, the “I” decorations are applied on the front.
The male variants are clean and decided and in the case of the model IC197 the acetate has a slightly thicker processing, in line with the latest trends. Two color proposal, brown and amaranth, are presented in the up-to-date mat version.
